Portonovi Beach Club

Situated just a couple of meters away from the excellent Tapasake Portonovi which celebrates Asian Fusion Cuisine and poolside hedonism, lies the Portonovi Beach Club. It is a popular daytime venue for couples and families with children who come here to relax in a pristine environment.

The soft golden sand and the stupendously good beach infrastructure with spacious changing rooms, clean toilets, and comfortable sun loungers, cabanas, and hammocks only add to its appeal. The beach club also constitutes a great spot for watching yachts and cruise ships entering and exiting the Bay of Kotor.

During peak season, there is almost no free space in the sunbathing area; the beach club seems to be in great demand with locals and holidaymakers alike. The dining area which is managed by Rock Fish Restaurant and the Beluga Bar is popular as well.

And it is easy to see why. The tables are well-spaced on the wooden al fresco dining deck. There is abundant shade from the boho chic pergola for escaping the sun for just a little while. This is as good as it gets when it comes to oceanside dining.

Specialties from the sea and international comfort food are served alongside carefully selected cocktails and other drinks. And so you can find salmon steak in creamy sauce, tuna tartare with avocado, and warm octopus salad with stracciatella cheese on its well-crafted menu.

There are also lots of options for vegetarians (and vegans). Take the spaghetti out of a flaming parmesan cheese wheel for example, where the experience value is as worthy as the food quality itself. Last, but not least, they serve some of the best margaritas in the region.
