Company Registration Number (Montenegro)

A company registration number (Montenegrin: Registarski Broj) is a unique, 8-digit combination of numbers given by Montenegro’s Company Register upon registering and is used to easily identify companies alongside the Tax Identification Number (PIB), which is also assigned by the CRPS as the business is incorporated in Montenegro.

The Registarski Broj can be found on the ‘Certification of Incorporation’ (received upon company formation) or on business register excerpts, which can be requested by the company’s shareholders and directors on an ongoing basis. The company registration number is also simply known as ‘company number’ or ‘registration number’.

Important Info: Unlike the company address, the business activity, or the company address, the company registration number cannot be changed.
