Company Registration Number (Montenegro)
A company registration number (Montenegrin: Registarski Broj) is a unique 8-digit combination of numbers assigned by Montenegro’s Company Register when you set up your company. The registration number – not to be confused with the Tax Identification Number (PIB) – is commonly used to identify your company in official correspondence with the Tax Administration, banks, other state institutions, and business partners.
The Registarski Broj can be found on the Certificate of Incorporation (issued at the time of company formation) or on business register excerpts, which shareholders and company directors may request at any time. The company registration number is also commonly referred to as the ‘company number’ or simply the ‘registration number’.
Important Info: Unlike your company address or business activity, the company registration number is permanent and cannot be changed.
