ToggleThe One&Only Montenegro without a doubt belongs in the ultra-luxury category of accommodation. There are few if any hotels and resorts in Montenegro that can rival this truly amazing hotel.
The One&Only brand has established itself globally as a true and unique lifestyle resort operator with hotels in exotic destinations such as in the Maldives, Mauritius, and Australia.
The pristine One and Only Portonovi sits at the entrance to Boka Bay, a mere 15-minute drive from Herceg Novi and one hour away from Kotor and Tivat Airport. Dubrovnik in Croatia is also not too far – just 50 kilometers.
The 238-berth Portonovi Marina can accommodate yachts of up to 120 meters in length. It is a member of the D-Marin Global Network. Walking around the marina, you will see dozens of cafes, shops, bars, and dining options. The stunning location can probably only be rivaled by Porto Montenegro – the first superyacht marina project in Montenegro.
One of the most breathtaking features of the One&Only is its private white-sand beach with incredible views of the bay area. The private beach area extends seamlessly to the outdoor pools and cultivated gardens.
In total, there are 6 secluded private sparkling pools and five exclusive pools reserved for suite guests. The beach is very quiet and not crowded which makes for a great experience.
Should the weather not allow for swimming or relaxing outdoors, you can still take advantage of the gorgeous and incredibly picturesque indoor pool.
The following facilities are complimentary for hotel guests:

The Tipsarevic tennis club challenges you to bring your tennis game up to date. You can choose to either get coached by the excellent Jaroslaw Grela or try your luck against one ATP-level player. You don’t have to be a prodigy player yourself: players of skill levels can expect world-class training standards.
It’s great that much has been invested into the professional-grade floodlit tennis courts. Together with the first-class tennis equipment, you can now experience the courts the same way as career players on television. Please find below an overview of the current prices.
It’s nice to unwind at the gorgeous outdoor pool landscape but the crystal-clear waters of Boka Bay are just as amazing. You can venture out all by yourself and glide through the warm waters and let yourself float on the salty and gentle waves.
You can also ask the staff of the resort to provide you with a kayak or SUP. The waters in the Bay of Kotor are usually calm and it makes up for a great adventure exploring the surrounding villages by sea. In the evening hours before the sun disappears behind the mountains, it’s the best time for a game of badminton or volleyball.
If you want to take some time out to enjoy the resort on your own or with your partner, you can leave your children to the trained caregivers and entertainers of KidsOnly and One Tribe.
KidsOnly is open for younger travelers from 3 to 12 years of age. One Tribe serves teens from 13 to 17 years of age. These two clubs offer supervised child entertainment (indoor and outdoor) and stay open into the evening until 9 pm.
As part of the programs, your children can take swimming and tennis lessons (reservation required) and engage in the following activities among others:
Info: The resort also offers babysitting services within your room, suite, or villa. Children need to be above the age of six months.
As you would expect from an ultra-luxury resort, the fitness center is large and modern and has the latest equipment by Technogym. Besides training on the machines, you can partake in many classes: from yoga to boxing and Systema Martial Arts, there is something for everyone.
The One&Only Montenegro takes your active holiday requirements seriously. From now on, you can embark on a one-of-its-kind hiking journey with the Montenegrin ultra-trail runner and mountaineer Sasa Kulinovic.
He will guide you up to the marvelous Mount Orjen, a mountain that is deeply entrenched in the local psyche with its countless legends and myths. Sasa is a good storyteller so it will be entertaining. You will likely remember this scenic trip for a long time to come.
Montenegro was once part of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia that was led by the charismatic strongman ‘Marshal Tito’. If classic and vintage cars appeal to you and you want to experience the beautiful Montenegrin coastal roads as Marshal Tito did half a century ago, this tour is for you.
The four-hour drive to Tito’s former ‘Villa Galeb’ in Igalo will take you past the coastal villages of the Bay of Kotor. The scenic trip includes a guided visit to Tito’s villa and an ensuing wine tasting.
Being a hotel guest at the truly marvelous One&Only Portonovi, you can choose from four bars and restaurants in total.
We aim to reflect the flavors and culture of Montenegro and focus on beautifully executed, seasonal dishes.

What can you expect at the newly-opened Tapasake Club? The Tapasake very tastefully combines Peruvian with Asian cuisine in a sophisticated pool club ambient. So, while enjoying your contemporary Japanese or Peruvian dish, you can overlook Kotor Bay while the resident DJ is playing jazzy and funky tunes in the background. Luckily it is not too intrusive.
In a typical fusion manner, the food menu is rather chaotic. You can choose between Tacos, Ceviche, Tempura, Sashimi, and Sushi. Listed as the main course are the following dishes.
At the sake and cocktail bar, you will encounter a blend of classical and innovative cocktails blending Mediterranean scents with Japanese craftmanship. You can easily spend a whole day at the Tapasake Club edging back and forth between the pool, restaurant, and cocktail bar.
Tip: Try the refreshing Negroni with Japanese Gin.
