Adriacom has been amazing at helping us set up all the things necessary for our new, peaceful lives in Montenegro in an easy and compliant way. They are 10x times better than previous service providers we had used in Portugal. They are flexible and open to assist with other areas such as housing and education, which is amazing!

The power of Adriacom lies in the team’s ability to swiftly adapt to challenges and anticipate problems before they occur. This has saved me lots of money and resources. I’ve been a client for over 5 years and I just can’t see myself running my small online business without them at this point.

Honestly, it’s quite a joy working with Adriacom (...) I would recommend them to everyone seriously eyeing a move to Montenegro. They nail customer service on a different level. Me and my wife love them. It’s truly remarkable how quickly we were able to adapt to our new happy lives.

My personal income tax rate has decreased to 15% (from previously 45%) by obtaining residency in Montenegro. My money goes a long way here, and even if I am not a big spender, I am finally able to save significant portions of my income. I am forever grateful for Adriacom’s support and mentorship.

You can start a limited company in Montenegro for as little as 1,00€. You’re not obligated to employ local workers, and neither is there a need to exceed a minimum annual revenue or profit threshold.
Unlike other residency visa programs with physical stay requirements, Montenegro’s entrepreneur visa scheme has no such requirement. The program’s main condition is that you must pay monthly salary taxes for yourself as the company director.
When employing yourself as the company director, you are required to draw at least the minimum net salary of 600,00€ per month. You’ll have to pay 78,50€ in salary-related taxes and about 100,00€ in bookkeeping and accounting fees.
To qualify for a permanent residence permit via the company formation route, you must have legally lived in the country for five consecutive years as a temporary resident. During this 5-year period, your time spent outside Montenegro must not exceed a total of 10 months.
Yes, you can sponsor your spouse and children for your entrepreneur visa application. Eligible dependents include married spouses and (biological and adopted) children less than 18 years of age.
However, you are neither allowed to include your dependent parents nor your unmarried (domestic) partner.
You’ll need to provide supplementary paperwork, such as an apostilled marriage certificate and birth certificates for each child.
You can choose any business activity when registering your company in Montenegro, but – among others – tourism & hospitality, transportation, financial services, and food & beverage companies require additional permits or licenses.
While you can own an unlimited number of companies in Montenegro, you can only be appointed as the director in up to four businesses.
The Montenegrin residency by company formation program is only open to citizens of countries that do not require a visa to enter Montenegro.
