Sveti Stefan Beach

With panoramic views of the Island of Sveti Stefan right in front of your eyes, it’s not hard to fall in love with this beach the moment you arrive. The fine pale-pink pebbles contrast marvelously against the deep blue color palette of the crystal-clear Adriatic Sea.

Sveti Stefan Beach – North

Sveti Stefan Beach is divided into two equal parts by the narrow causeway that leads up to the island. The northern part (towards Budva) is one of the private hotel beaches managed by Aman Sveti Stefan. As a non-guest, you can still rent loungers and parasols but it will set you back 180€ per day.

And it is easy to see why. The northern flank of Sveti Stefan Beach is not your average strand: loungers are spaced so that you cannot hear what your neighbors are talking and you receive top-notch catering service from one of the leading luxury hotel management companies – Aman Resorts.

Even the showers feel luxurious with wide and modern showerheads, otherwise only seen in Spa centers and luxurious contemporary bathrooms. From the beach, you can also take a shaded walkway to Milocer Beach (King’s Beach) which is also managed by Aman. Here, sunbeds are 200€ per set.

Sveti Stefan Beach – South

Now let’s go back to the other flank of Sveti Stefan Beach that is freely accessible to the public. While not as upscale as its lavish adjacent, the beach still features breathtaking panoramic views of the 15th-century fortress island.

Renting sunbeds on this side is cheaper (but not cheap) with rates ranging from 30 – 60€, depending on how close you want to be to the water. Be it as it may, at least they are spaciously spread out and there is enough comfort. There is also a free unserviced section nearby.

Sveti Stefan Island

The poster child of Montenegrin luxury tourism has been closed to the public for over a decade. Starting July 2023, Aman Resorts now finally allows visitors to explore the beauties of this unique piece of Montenegrin heritage.

The entrance fee is 25€ per person. Children aged 12 and below do enter free of charge. Aman Resorts allow for just six guided tours per day with a maximum capacity of 10 adults + 4 children per tour.

Villa Geba

Good Restaurants near Sveti Stefan Beach
